Digital Archive of Academician Andrey Ershov is joint project of Microsoft Research Department and Ershov Institute of Informatics Systems with technical support of xTech company. The project is devoted to creation of the information system that allows to add, manage and view archive documents in different forms.
Technical support was concluded in developing 3 relatively independent parts: front-end, back-end and set of utilities. Front-end is represented by web site that contains information about biography and works of Andrey Ershov and allows one quick search and access to necessary documents. Back-end is represented by administration system that is intended for filling in database with different types of data, managing archive objects and actualizing documents. Set of utilities is intended to facilitate some laborious operations, e.g. scanning documents etc.
Project is carried out with technologies and products of Microsoft Corporation.
